Linda Bradbury was born on the 5th of November 1954. (Bonfire night). Sadly she passed away on her Grandsons Birthday on 9th May 2006 due to a very short illness.
Linda had many brothers and she was the only girl so growing up for her in a family of boys was money making with ironing their shirts and trousers and doing their washing she made herself a nice little packet when she realised her time for doing this needs a little extra credit hehe.
She had 3 Daughters and 8 Grandchildren who all very much loved her.
she suffered alot of hurt in her lifetime from losing her mum and dad and 5 of her Brothers at an early age, and also a grandson.
She was always joking around, i think its in the family, we are all quackers. She loved and lived life to the full and worked in a Knicker factory throughout her teens until she became pregnant with her first Daughter.
She had a failed married to whom he fathered 2 of her Daughters and then met another someone special who fathered me.
When we had all grew up and left school and got ourselves on our feet, caring for old people became her work life. Working at one nursing home she thought it was the best job ever but sadly it closed its doors and she had to start again in a different home to which she did not mind as she liked it there also. she met lots of friends and even used to go and meet one of the residents down the pub on her days off.
Unfortunately lung cancer struck at the age of 51 which was a shocking blow to us , we did not find out the cause of death until nearly a week later. My mum not knowing I dont know if thats good or bad but I do hope she is with her Mum and Dad and the brothers and grandchild she has missed for so long.
Please if you knew her or any of the family leave a message or light a candle in memory of Linda.
If tears could build a stairway,
And memories a lane,
Id walk the steps to heaven,
And bring you home again!
Love u lots Mum

Birthday Memories
Your Birthday is on Bonfire Night
We used to celebrate in style
How we would threaten to use you as the guy
Which we havent done in a little while
Its hard to have fun and enjoy it now
As you are not here to show us how
Yet we will never forget all those fantastic nights
how you hated all the fuss
You were the centre of the lights
an that meant everything to us
Happy Birthday from us all
You would be 53 today
We cannot send you cards and gifts
But all our love is on its way.
